Fernando Wario es profesor de la Universidad de Guadalajara e investigador asociado del Instituto de Ciencias y Tecnologías de la Cognición (ISTC) en Roma, Italia. Obtuvo el grado de Doctor en Ciencias de la Computación por la Universidad Libre de Berlín (Freie Universität Berlin), Berlín (2018). Previo a su doctorado obtuvo el grado de maestro en Ciencias en Ingeniería en Electrónica y Computación (2010) e Ingeniero en Comunicaciones y Electrónica (2005) por la Universidad de Guadalajara. Entre sus áreas de interes se encuentran sistemas complejos, visión por computadora, etología computacional y sistemas bioinspirados.
