El Dr. Milton Vázquez Lepe es miembro del Departamento de Ingeniería de Proyectos, es Ingeniero Químico, Maestro en Ciencias y Doctorado en Ciencias en Ingeniería Química por la Universidad de Guadalajara, además cuenta con estudios de Posdoctorado en Ciencia de Materials del Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados, Unidad Querétaro. Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores nivel I, tiene un índice H de 11 y cuenta con 32 artículos JCR. Sus líneas de investigación incluyen el reciclado de plásticos, materiales compuestos, películas delgadas, materiales adsorbentes, y análisis de materiales con la técnica de caracterización química con Espectroscopía de Fotoelectrones excitados con Rayos-X.
