Dr. HUGO OSCAR MÉNDEZ ACOSTA
Resumen curricular:
El Dr. Méndez-Acosta es Profesor Investigador Titular “C” adscrito al Ingeniería Química del CUCEI-Universidad de Guadalajara, donde desarrolla líneas de investigación relacionadas con la instrumentación, atomatización y control de bioprocesos avanzados (digestores anaerobios, CH4 y fermentación obscura, H2) para la valorización de desechos agroindustriales mediante la producción de biocombustibles gaseosos. El Dr. Méndez-Acosta es miembro del SNI desde 2005 actualmente Nivel II, a la fecha ha participado en el desarrollo de 15 proyectos de investigación con financiamiento federal e internacional, coordinando en el más reciente al grupo CUCEI-UdG que participó en el clúster Biocombustibles Gaseosos del Centro Mexicano de Innovación en Bioenergía (CEMIE-Bio). El Dr. Méndez-Acosta ha participado en la formación de 4 estudiantes de doctorado, 37 de maestría y 7 de licenciatura. Además, ha participado como editor de 2 libros científicos de tiraje internacional en editoriales de alto prestigio como Springer-Verlag, además cuenta con 54 artículos científicos en revistas indizadas en el JCR y un índice h de 17. Actualmente, coordina la Maestría en Ciencias en Procesos Biotecnológicos del CUCEI-UdG.
