La Dra. Roxana Larios es Ingeniera Química y cuenta con Maestría y Doctorado en Electroquímica. Es profesora investigadora en CUCEI, U de G y miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, nivel I. Al año 2023, ha publicado 54 artículos en revistas indexadas, cuenta con 311 citas y tiene un índice h de 9. Es experta en técnicas electroquímicas moduladas de corriente alterna: Impedancia Electroquímica, Modulación de la Capacitancia Interfacial y Modulaciones de la temperatura como función de transferencia para sistemas electroquímicos. Su línea de investigación es la Electroquímica física, la cual incluye el estudio de procesos de adsorción en electrodos, la caracterización de materiales y superficies así como procesos fardaicos. Entre estos, posee experiencia en la aplicación de métodos electroquímicos para la recuperación de desechos electrónicos,
