Resumen curricular:
Técnico Químico Industrial, CONALEP (Guadalajara, 1993). Licenciado en Química por la Universidad de Guadalajara (México, 2000). Maestría (2004) y doctorado en Química (2008) en la Universidad Federal del Paraná, Brasil. Posdoctorado en el Centro de Nanociencias y Nanotecnología de la UNAM (2009-2011). Miembro del sistema nacional de investigadores (SNI), con nivel 3. Experiencia de 8 años en la industria como químico analítico en laboratorios de asfaltos, aguas, suelos y alimentos. Experiencia académica y en investigación en el área de química del estado sólido; caracterización de materiales en escala nanométrica; síntesis de nuevos materiales a base de compuestos laminares aniónicos. Inventor con 2 solicitudes de patente, 3 patentes concedidas (1internacional) y 1 transferida con producto en el mercado. Revisor activo en 42 revistas científicas (Elsevier, ACS, RSC, Springer y Wiley, entre otras). Hasta octubre de 2023 ha participado en la dirección de 48 tesis (licenciatura, maestría y doctorado), ha publicado un libro, 5 capítulos de libro, 8 artículos de divulgación y 89 artículos en revistas indexadas generando 2,805 citas (H = 21) en SCOPUS y 3,940 (H = 25) en Google Académico.
