Dr. ALBERTO NIGOCHE NETRO
Resumen curricular:
Es maestro en ciencias (Astronomía) por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México y doctor en ciencias físicas (Astrofísica) por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Realizó estancias postdoctorales en el Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias y en el Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía. Actualmente es investigador Asociado C de la Universidad de Guadalajara. Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores en el nivel II y nivel IX del programa de estímulos al desempeño docente de la Universidad de Guadalajara. Es coordinador del Coloquio Internacional de Astronomía Universo y Sociedad que se realiza cada año en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara. Su principal campo de investigación es la formación y evolución del Universo. Se dedica particularmente al estudio de la materia oscura y las relaciones estructurales de galaxias de distintos tipos morfológicos. En sus artículos publicados ha demostrado, entre otras cosas, que los parámetros de las relaciones estructurales de las galaxias de tipo temprano dependen del rango de magnitud en el que se considere la muestra. También ha encontrado que la materia oscura dentro de las galaxias de tipo temprano depende de la masa, del redshift y del medio ambiente. Además de lo anterior ha publicado trabajos científicos sobre las propiedades estructurales de las galaxias enanas azules y sobre las propiedades estructurales de cúmulos globulares galácticos. Los resultados anteriores tienen implicaciones entorno a la formación y evolución del Universo.
