El Dr. Edgar Benjamín Figueroa Ochoa es profesor del Química de la Universidad de Guadalajara desde mayo del 2013, ha sido presidente de la Academia de Fisicoquímica y miembro del Colegio Departamental de Química y del Comité de Tutorías. Es integrante del Cuerpo Académico UDG-CA-178. También ha sido director y asesor de tesis de pregrado y posgrado. Autor de artículos científicos y participante en congresos de divulgación. En 2015 y 2017, obtuvo el Premio Estatal de Innovación, Ciencia y Tecnología en las categorías de CIENCIA y DIVULGACIÓN, respectivamente. Desde el 2017 es Investigador Nacional Nivel I del SNI y a partir del 2018 cuenta con el Reconocimiento a Perfil Deseable del PRODEP. Ver menos
