El Dr. Edgar José López Naranjo es profesor del Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías de la Universidad de Guadalajara. Es. Ingeniero Químico, Maestro en Ciencias en Química y Doctor en Ciencias en Materiales Poliméricos. Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores nivel I, tiene un índice H de 12 y cuenta con más 20 artículos JCR, además de trabajos de divulgación. Sus líneas de investigación incluyen el estudio de materiales compuestos para la liberación de fármacos en el globo ocular, la síntesis de nano materiales metálicos y el desarrollo de celdas solares orgánicas.
