Resumen curricular:
La Dra. Angélica Villarruel López es profesora del Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías de la Universidad de Guadalajara. Es Química Farmacobiologa, Maestra en Ciencias con especialidad en Microbiología y Doctora en Ciencias Químico Biológicas por el Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Es Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores nivel 1, tiene un índice H de 14 y cuenta con 35 artículos JCR, además de varios capítulos de libros y cuenta con más de 200 citaciones. Sus líneas de investigación incluyen el estudio del efecto de compuestos bioactivos de origen natural en adultos mayores con diabetes y la microbiología de alimentos que desarrolla en los laboratorios de Microbiología Sanitaria Investigación y Tecnología de Alimentos.
